Wuxi Daxin Chemicals Co., Ltd is located in Hongsheng town, Wuxi county, known as the "first county" in China, close to Tai Lake in Jiangsu province. Seated in the center of the Yangzi River delta and the famous Shanghai economy zone, it enjoys beautiful scenery, mild climate, advanced transportation and communication systems as well as suitable environment for industry development. Within 200 kilometers gathers Shanghai metropolis, Nanjing provincial capital and other mid-sized cities, such as Suzhou and Hangzhou. With Xigan road passing by our company and Huning railway¡¢ expressway and national highway 312 to the south, Zhang Jia Gang port from which navigates to Europe and America within 40 kilometers, Wuxi airport 5 kilometers away and Shanghai Hongqiao airport within 110 kilo- meters, our company enjoys a developed transportation net. Our company has a total size of 50000 m2, with buildings of 20000 m2. We produce the novel food preservative sorbic acid and potas- sium sorbate by advanced process technology. Highly effective, safe and nonpoisonous sorbic acid and potassium sorbate are used world- wide. The quality of the products is in conformity with FCC and FAO/WHO standards. 95% of the products are exported to USA, South America and Western Europe. The food preservative series with strong inhibition on mould, yeast, and oxygen demanding bac- teria, but without any toxic side effect on human body, is extensively used in producing the cake, drink, dairy products, sauce and pickles preserved fruit and so on. The production of the two products exceeded 1500 tons. The second phase of the extension project is being put into effect. The annual capacity will reach 4500 tons to meet the requirement of both home and abroad after the project is completed.
